The sparkling soap shell is gorgeous in person! just as good as the melon soda i got from this vendor. actually even better, as the box was packaged much more securely this time, so it's in very nice condition with no dents or creases -- good news for a collector.
Arrived within a week to the uk. it is a genuine tamagotchi. there is also an option when first starting them up that gives you an english option so don’t worry about them being in japanese. will likely order more in the future.

It's a genuine tama. the packaging is in chinese, but you can select english or japanese on startup. it's been working well for me; no issues so far. this shell is expensive secondhand, so it's great to find it here close to retail price. looks beautiful in person! shipping was very fast, too. i'll be getting another from this website.
